The customer service rep Corey badge 636504 apparently sent the security department an e-mail and had no means to contact them by phone, including her supervisor I asked for. I requested reassurance that no information would be violated. She could not do that but told me they are not responsible for info that is leaked. I would have to wait 2 days to hear from them by phone. I insisted over and over for her to get a number or call someone that could get the number and got no where. Very very disappointing and no I would not recommend your service because of the customer service department. I am very disappointed with eharmony. I have been a member for more than a month. I have smiled about 40 or people or more. Few of them look at my profile, no smiles back. I wonder if the males are very picky or I am not that cute. They match me with people in CA, WI, AR, and those people are not going to move at their age 60. I questioned, he got upset and I terminated the friendship. Now, he is out of the site looking for another victim. I hope eharmony takes this business seriously as they took my money. In mid-2000s I first joined eHarmony. About 2011 I tried to register again from another state, and had LOTS of trouble registering again, because error message said my email address was already used or invalid, so I registered with another dating website and successful in one relationship for 5 years. Now I have the same email address, and same trouble registering with eHarmony. I have found no Customer Service phone number on the website, nor chat room, and no phone number browsing that looks safe not their website address. This has happened on several occasions when I was trying to sign up for the free trial part of it. Several other ones I have had accounts with were nothing more than illegals preying on women for their dates of birth, phone numbers and addresses among other things. I want to be shown that this is a reputable site not taking advantage of anyone, including free trial offers. My best advice is, do not use this dating site, period. I said, fine, then I want 3 days credit. He said, we do not give credit for 3 days. I said, you are in breach of contract and he then offered to extend me one full month. I have not checked yet if the extension has actually gone through. I find it outrageous that this dating company does not list their customer service number on the actual dating site. One last thing, the only questions they asked to confirm it was my account was: 1. I have cancelled my subscription because of no matches in one month. I have jumped through all of the hoop options to get a match. I want E-Harmony to develop a partial refund policy if their system is not working for a subscriber. I tried E-Harmony when it was launched and again now. Dating sights do not work. Matches only tell you what you want to hear. When you meet someone in person from a match it is a whole new ballgame starting with two strikes. I just doubt what they claim now. Having joined some time ago on a different email account my account was compromised. Joined again recently on different email account and within three weeks of joining my account hacked again this site is full of scammers. I have complained by email and cancelled my account stating I do not want and further monies taken for ongoing subscription. No one from eHarmony has bothered to reply or confirm my complaint or request. Eharmony is really not user friendly. For some reason, I cannot get into my site. Maybe I have forgotten the password. So they say put your email address and zip code and they will contact you. I have done that over and over for three days. As much as I want to use this service, I find it so difficult. There is no way to contact them by email or phone. Why does this have to be so hard? I would have to give them a -1 on their help area. I have tried every zip code I have ever had.. I think this is horrible site. It is the worst dating site I have been on and would like to see if I can at least cancel the last 2 payments. As I was looking for a one month option but there was none which I think is just rediculous!!! If you could get back to me with a solution that would be great. So only if you believe full communication can be accomplished without one of the five senses… sight? Wow once again you underwhelm. I do believe I know there are ways to confirm the person your helping access their info prove its them. It is disheartening to see so many negative responses to eHarmony. I wish I had checked this site where so many dissatisfied customer voiced their concern before I signed on. I, too, am dissatisfied with this dating service. The men that I have been matched up with are not my type nor do we have anything in common. I believe this site is unscrupulous and misrepresents itself. It is a complete fraud, and in addition, who charges up front for a service before we sample the service; like buying a car sight unseen. This is poor business practice and I do not want to be part of this scam. I have cancelled my subscription on your website. I talked with a customer service rep a month ago, told her that I wanted to cancel my service because I have found someone. Maintaining the service will cause problems. She agreed and canceled my service. DO not charge my card. I do not and have not used the service in months. I do not want the service. Please let me know if there is something more that I need to do. After repeated requests to stop monthly payments taken unlawfully from my credit card account.
